We walked the Capitol 10K in Austin this weekend. It was my fourth time participating, Amanda's second, and Elizabeth's first. The girls were fantastic companions for the entire 6.2 mile route around the city. Meeting our good friends from law school at the race has become a family tradition we are sure to continue. Next year, we'll run it. You heard it here first.
Brian and I also had fun showing the girls around Austin. Sixth Street looks different during daylight hours, especially with a two-year old on Brian's shoulders and a two month old strapped to my chest. Not exactly the Austin we remember, but pretty great nonetheless.
