Rodeo!

Suzanne and I took the kids to the Rodeo carnival and livestock show last week. For the first time in three years, we had no strollers! We also had four girls who were tall enough to ride almost every single ride. Elizabeth is barely the requisite 36 inches, but she just scrapes by. And once she saw all of her cousins getting on a ride, she was right behind them. There was no way she was sitting anything out. Suzanne took some great pictures of the fun.

Watching mutton bustin'

Riding on a ride very scary ride while I stood off to the side holding my breath every time the car went up and down and our kids' bodies jumped off the seat.

The Ferris Wheel! Besides opening her eyes to take this picture, Suzanne kept her eyes closed the entire time.

Sammy and Elizabeth climbing up a rope ladder inside an obstacle course that was definitely designed for older kids, but they did it!

And they were so excited to get to the top. "We did it!"

Riding the ponies. "Look, Aunt Suzanne, no hands!"

And the requisite side-by-side shot.

What an awesome afternoon. Can't wait for next year!

I don't know what mutton bustin' is, but it was my favorite pictures.

You've got to see Larry's video of Rick Phillips' grandson. He was one of the mutton busters! Hilarious.
